The Oniru of Iruland, His Royal Majesty Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, Abisogun II, has expressed gratitude to God as he celebrates another year of life, reflecting on the blessings, responsibilities, and purpose that have shaped his journey.
In a birthday message shared on Friday, the monarch described birthdays as a time for reflection on life’s lessons, the responsibilities entrusted to individuals, the lives they have the privilege to impact, and the enduring values that guide their path.
Oba Lawal thanked God for His grace and mercy, while appreciating the honour of leading the people of Iruland. He also acknowledged the unwavering support of his family, friends, and the wider community.
As he begins a new chapter, the traditional ruler prayed for continued wisdom, strength, good health, and peace to fulfil his divine purpose.
He also offered prayers for the continued prosperity of Iruland, Lagos State, and Nigeria, expressing hope that the people would enjoy greater progress, abundance, and many more years of peace and joy.
